About Me...

Let me introduce myself. I am a research assistant, makeup artist and reality TV addict who lives in sunny Western Australia, in West Perth with my wonderful boyfriend Linken, aka "The President" in our charming little house built in 1903.

I believe in karma, keeping it real & treating others the way you would like to be treated. I don't claim to have a perfect life or have all the answers, but I am inspired to be the best person I can be, live life to the fullest and to follow my dreams and I'd love you to come on the journey with me.

This blog will not be a place for me to toot my own horn or pretend to be something I'm not. I promise to be honest and bring all of me to the table, whether it be good or not so great. It is a place to share knowledge and inspiration and hopefully make you laugh from time to time.

My vices include over analyzing, swearing and spending a large proportion of time in trackies or PJ's (ironically, I love fashion and getting dressed up, but I am a Gemini and own being a walking contradiction).

I have a raging hard-on for my group of girlfriends - I feel that with our powers combined, the 10 of us could run the world. Be prepared to hear me constantly bragging about them. you've been warned.

Random Truth Bombs:
  • I am mostly vegetarian (I occasionally eat chicken breast and once in a blue moon will try a piece of fish), much to the horror of my parents, my boyfriend, and my boyfriends parents who are not only Italian (BAM!), but are also cattle farmers. Oh, the irony!
  • my friend Hayley and I like to believe that in an alternate universe we are Ja Rule & Ashanti. Mama likes them old school jams.
  • I am besotted by animals and have been known to spend over 30 minutes inside a childrens petting zoo whilst The Pres waits patiently holding my handbag.
  • Both of my parents are heavily into triathlons and could both kick my ass fitness-wise. I am incredibly proud of the fact that dad is 63 and mum is pushing 60 and they can both do an ironman. awe-inspiring proof that you are never too old to follow your dreams
When I'm not at work you can find me:
  • pounding the pavement, scouting for vintage treasures and exploring the neighborhood
  • getting creative in the kitchen
  • snuggling up on the couch with my man
  • dropping it like a squat at the gym
  • pondering life or having a giggle with one of the girls
